Shota Nakatsugawa
Shota Nakatsugawa Fascinated by traditional crafts, he taught himself Japanese painting and succeeded in incorporating graffiti images. He incorporates silkscreen techniques, which are rare in the Japanese painting world, and produces works that can be used worldwide. By incorporating contemporary art into Japanese culture, where traditional crafts are being lost, he has gained tremendous support from all quarters for creating works that are appropriate for the current era. Recently, he has successfully exhibited at the Ueno Royal Museum, Kanazawa 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, and Nidai Museum of Art, and in October 2019, he also successfully exhibited at the Louvre in Paris.
